Dominic Scanlon (F.Arbor.A., CEnv., HND Arb., NCH Arb.,)

Dominic spent 10 years working in local government, within planning departments at Teignbridge District Council and Exeter City Council. He was responsible for protected trees, planning advice, appraising landscaping schemes, and tree inspections on Council owned land. Dominic's experience gives him a valuable insight into planning and protected tree legislation and processes. He progressed into the private sector in 2004, running a consultancy department for a tree surgery company. He became a Fellow of the Arboricultural Association in 2005 and a Chartered Environmentalist in 2008.
